This is what I think every time I see Charles Krauthammer. Definitely a nefarious alien.

Playing around with a concept about designer-focused booze. Seems like there might be a market there.

Masking tape, shitty paper, photocopy and 2-bit color.

This will go up with my other letters eventually, but I’m enjoying it too much not to share here.

Five days without @mshannabrooks reminded me that she’s pretty hard to do without.

The snow is real tough on Seattle drivers. Recorded this on First Hill at Boren Ave. & University St. yesterday.

Found this while organizing my files (across two computers, Dropbox and an external). Drew it three years ago for a poster, but I think it’s appropriate given Seattle’s current relationship with the weather.

To be clear—a good space program is not a manned space program. Frankly, I think we’re better off keeping the humans on the ground and the robots in space. We can do so many more amazing things at a fraction of the cost, and, unless a number of factors change drastically, we need to be using every last cent devoted to space exploration as efficiently as possible.
That said, the space shuttle is still a phenomenally cool piece of technology and innovation.

This is how I envisioning working outside must be like.
(Also, it’s supposed to be animated. Just in case it’s not and you want to know what you’re missing.)

Experimenting with asymmetry and blending modes. Also, SPACE. I think something needs to happen in the lower third, but I’m not sure what. Maybe a more detailed spaceship. Or a relevant line of copy.
As often is the case, I have to give credit to the folks at the Greenwood Space Travel Supply Co. for inspiration. Fantastic work done over there. ABOUT SPACE.
